“I was just thinking about you!” My friend said. It’s a sentiment echoed a lot after my vanishing.
I seem to be in the air.
Last night I fell asleep thinking about the series finale of The Leftovers. There’s an Otis Redding song that plays in the episode.
In the episode, Nora vanishes into thin air to live in the wilds of Australia. She makes it impossible for people to find her, although she keeps in touch with one person from her past.
My kid sister says it’s supposed to rain from today until next week.
Maybe I’ll rewatch that episode today with a cup of peach tea with honey.
